Witnesses sought to Farnborough hit and run
30th June 2007
Detectives in Aldershot are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was left seriously injured in a hit and run in Farnborough in the early hours of Saturday, June 30.
The incident occurred around 3am at Sand Hill in Farnborough, near to the Sixth Form College, when a dark coloured estate car was seen to drive at a group of eight young people.
The vehicle mounted the pavement and struck the victim and another person. The driver then drove at the group again, striking two others, and then drove off.
A 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries and is currently in a stable condition at Frimley Park Hospital.
Detective Inspector Dave Storey, of Aldershot CID, said: “There were a number of people in the area at the time of the collision and we would urge any witnesses to contact police.
“A teenager has been left seriously ill in hospital and I would urge anyone with any information to get in touch.”
