Witnesses sought after woman is robbed in Farnborough

Officers are appealing for information following a robbery in Farnborough on Thursday, July 19.
At some time between 2am and 3am the 21-year-old victim was walking up to the door of a house on Fleet Road, Cove, Farnborough after being dropped off in a taxi.
As she approached the doorway she was grabbed from behind. She turned around to face the offender and he demanded that she hand over her handbag. He then grabbed her by the shoulder and took her handbag from her.
He then ran away towards Fernhill Road.
The man police want to speak to is described as:
• White
• 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins
• Broad build• In his early 30s
• Wearing a blue zip up fleece, light blue jeans and trainers
PC Simon Monga said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who saw the man running away from Fleet Road to get in touch with the police.”
